New Moon Nursery is hiring!  Join our nursery team producing high-quality plugs of native perennials, grasses, sedges, and ferns.

Responsibilities:

•        Maintaining the health and vigor of inventory.
•        Irrigation- Possessing a working knowledge of specific plant needs.
•        IPM (Integrated Pest Management) Identification of potential problems and possible solutions.
•        Chemical and Biological Pest Control application- Obtaining and maintaining a NJ Pesticide Applicators License.
•        Implementing all safety measures regarding pesticide applications.
•        Detailed, timely record keeping of all pesticide applications.
•        Confidence to execute tasks as instructed in a timely manner with minimal supervision.

Regular work hours will include Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with minimum two days during the typical work week off.  Hours will fluctuate with seasonal demands.

The successful candidate will be detail oriented, enthusiastic about plants, and above all reliable. Experience in growing is not required, but a significant advantage.

Competitive compensation will be offered based on experience.

The nursery is located at 910 Kings Highway, Woodstown, NJ 08098.
