OB/GYN Opportunity in Knoxville, Tennessee
Academic Integration with unparalleled support
Join a high-volume OB Hospitalist program, comprised of 7 academic OB-GYN Hospitalists and 1 MFM, who educate, supervise, and provide direct OB/GYN care alongside residents (OBGYN and FP) and MFM fellows.
The team values collaboration, enthusiasm, integrity, transparency, and communication. There are opportunities for faculty development and involvement in quality improvement projects, clinical research, and mentorship of trainees. Full-time and part-time options are available with full-time considered as seven 24-hour shifts or fourteen 12-hour shifts per month, which includes shared in-house night coverage. 4 recently renovated sleeping rooms with computer desk, fetal monitor screen, and TV plus a communal area with TV, chairs, tables, massage chair, and monitor for fetal strips review.
Practice Overview:
Hospitalist program has been in place for 10 years
Each member serves as core faculty of the residency program
Academic experience is not required
Join an experienced team with employees having between 9-20+ years of experience post training
Level 4 Maternal-Fetal Care
Level 3 NICU
Level 1 Trauma Center
5,100 deliveries per year
2,700 GYN surgeries per year (including robotics)
Schedule:
7 - 24-hour shifts per month = Full Time
Option for 14 - 12-hour shifts as well
4 recently renovated sleeping rooms with computers, fetal monitoring, and TVs
Compensation & Benefits:
Guaranteed base salary with production incentives

Candidate Requirements:
Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Open to experienced physicians and those seeking long-term stability
Comfortable with full-scope OBGYN and surgical scheduling autonomy
Interest in optional academic teaching is welcome
