Northside Hospital, a nationally recognized leader in patient care and innovation, is actively seeking a board-certified/board-eligible, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in Cornea, Complex Cataract, and Anterior Segment Surgery to join our dynamic ophthalmology team in Atlanta, GA. This is an exceptional opportunity for a high-performing surgeon to practice in a collaborative, physician-led environment with dedicated outpatient ophthalmology operating room (OR) space and access to state-of-the-art technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-volume cornea, cataract and anterior segment surgeries with a focus on excellent surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction. - Evaluate and manage a wide spectrum of cornea, cataract and anterior segment conditions. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including optometrists, ophthalmic technicians, and surgical support staff. - Utilize dedicated ophthalmology OR space equipped with the latest surgical technologies.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school. - Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Ophthalmology. - Required Fellowship in Cornea - Complex Cataract Surgery and Anterior Segment Surgery Experience - Minimum 3-5 years post-residency experience preferred, but not required. - Georgia medical license (or ability to obtain).
